The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs across various disciplines, from humanities and social sciences to natural sciences and engineering.

The Faculty of Arts, established in 1919, is one of the founding faculties. It has been at the forefront of research and education in the fields of language, literature, history, and philosophy. The Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University is the oldest psychological institute in the Czech Republic, founded in 1926 by Professor Mihajlo Rostohar. How to get to the venue

There is a tram stop Grohova and a trolleybus stop Úvoz close to the Faculty of Arts.

From the dormitories to the university, you can take a direct trolleybus n. 25 or 26, which leaves from nearby stop Arena Brno. The ride takes 15-20 minutes. You will then get off at the stop Úvoz and walk to the Faculty of Arts.

Alternatively, if you are coming from the city center, you can take the tram n. 4 or 1 and get off at the stop Česká, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Faculty of Arts. If you do not fancy walking you can get on the tram n. 3 or 12, get off at the next stop Grohova and walk from there.

Or you can take the tram n. 12 from Hlavní nádraží (the main train station) which will take you directly to the tram stop Grohova and then it is about 3 minute walk from there.

For more information about the public transport connections, schedules and journey planner, please visit the website of the Brno transport company Dopravní podnik města Brna.
